Who we are

Auratus Investments was founded in 2024 by Manuel Veiga and Anna Guthe with the goal of creating a different kind of investment group- one built around curiosity, openness, and constant experimentation. The idea came from a simple observation: many student investment groups are either highly exclusive or structurally inaccessible, especially for international students, third-years on exchange, or those starting internships.

Auratus was designed to remove those barriers. We operate with a hybrid structure that allows members to stay involved regardless of location, and we keep entry requirements intentionally relaxed. Our belief is that investing is not something you need to arrive already knowing- it’s something you learn by doing. Members pitch ideas, debate allocations, and manage a shared portfolio together, learning not only how markets work, but also whether investing is something they genuinely enjoy.

How we Invest & Grow

While we typically focus on fundamental analysis and macroeconomic trends, Auratus is not tied to a single fixed strategy. As new members join each year, perspectives change, ideas evolve, and so do our tactics. What remains constant is a shared mindset: open discussion, low ego, and a willingness to learn through experience—including mistakes. This approach has consistently translated into strong, risk-adjusted performance, showing that an inclusive, learning-driven model can compete at a high level.

Auratus is also built with continuity in mind. Members remain connected beyond their active year through an expanding alumni network, ongoing market discussions, and shared access to resources. Alumni continue to engage through regular news and analysis channels, and members benefit from tools such as FactSet, which support both group decisions and individual investing beyond the competition. Each year builds on the last, allowing knowledge, experience, and perspective to compound over time.
